America Strikes Back: Tea Party Gathers with Trump, Cruz, Palin, Duck Dynasty, More on Capitol Hill Against Iran Deal

  WHAT DO THESE THREE POLITICAL LEADERS HAVE IN COMMON?

They're rich, white, angry and they're all Reality Television Stars.

The only thing that gives any of these people credibility with the American public is that the American Public watches them night in and night out on Reality TV.   And they're rich.  Because of reality TV.  Sure, they've all spun a narrative about success outside of TV.  And  people believe it.  But without TV none of these people's accomplishments would have even dented the American Consciousness.

 

Least of all, Donald Trump, whom people think of as a builder, when in fact his construction company went bankrupt long ago and the banks kept him solvent simply because he owed so much.  The properties were sold off to solvent construction companies but the name was a viable brand so Trump transformed himself into a branding company which sold its name to real builders, as well as clothing, toys, furniture and whatever else he could.  And then he sold himself as a reality television star who pretends to be a builder on the side.
